WEEK 46 ~ BE CREATIVE

This week we want you to be creative.  Winter is here so you may have some extra time on your hands due to if you find yourselves stuck at home during a snow storm. During snow storms alot of us are not able to continue with our daily routines because there is an abundence of snow on the ground.

Find The Creative Being Within You.

Have you been wanting to learn something new but you haven't learn it yet? What crafts did you enjoy doing when you were a child? Now is the time to pick up those past-time projects. What are you waiting for? Don't bore yourself. Find something to do.

HERE ARE SOMETHINGS YOU COULD DO TO PAST TIME.

​

  1. This would be a perfect time to learn how to play your favorite tune on an instrument you want to learn.

  2. Become an Author. Write a book, short story, a biography, an essay or become a Blogger.

  3. Read a Book. Find a book that interests you and read it.

  4. When the family is laying around, play a board game and have fun family activity. Turn off the TV and challenge the family to play. Introduce the kids to ole school classics like Sorry, Monopoly, etc. 

  5. Keep your hands busy and put together a Floor Puzzle

  6. Plan your next "Summertime Getaway". 

  7. Practice Knot making. Here is a book called Everything Knots.

  8. Reconnect with a friend or family member that you have not seen or talked to in awhile by writing them a letter. 

  9. Learn a new language. There are many Apps you can choose from. 

  10. Get the Vinyl out.  Listen to ole school music and dance. 

  11. Paint a picture. Painting supplies are available online.

  12. Capture your memories  and preserve them by making a Scrapbook Journal. Download your pictures from your cell phone and camera.

  13. Learn how to make candles.

  14. Take a online class to learn how to Pressure Can and Water Bath to preserve your food.

  15. Buy Survival books to build a survival library. ie: knots making, shelter making, etc.

  16. Learn how to Knit, Crochet, Sew, etc.

  17. If you are spiritual, read the Bible or a book of your religion.

  18. Take a online First Aid class               

  19. Learn medicinal benefits of plants. Make Tincture and medicines.

  20. Take an online gun safety class.

  21. Learn to hunt for food in addition to how to butcher it.

  22. Make jewelry to add to your collection. DIY jewelry kits are available online.

  23. Listen by downloading an Audiobook.

  24. Listen to Podcasts

  25. Coloring Books. Adult coloring books.

This week there is no challenge. Take this time to purchase the supplies you will need to pass the time while sheltering in place.
