Hey!    We Are So Glad You Are Joining Us.
Here's how the challenge works.

We have provided you with weekly challenges to complete. These challenges will help you create emergency, disaster plans, your food pantry and supplies. This is a big task so don’t let the challenges overwhelm you. Just do what you can to get prepared for the next emergency, man-made or natural disasters. Doing something is better than nothing. We’ve got a lot to do.

Some challenges may be short and easy, and will take no time at all to accomplish. But other challenges may be costly and time consuming. If you are unable to complete a challenge, it’s okay. You can go back to it some other time. Just keep going! By the end of the year, you should have a 72 Hour Kit/Bug Out Kit, a well stocked home pantry, and have learned survival skills and drills.

The 52 Week Preparedness Challenge started on January 1. We ask that you choose one day a week to committed to preparedness. If you have joined us late, please start from the beginning and attempt to incorporated those challenges within the upcoming challenges. If you have questions, please feel free to share your questions on the Join The Preparedness Movement private Facebook page where we learn together. If you don't do Facebook, leave a message below. Please share with your friends and family. Encourage them to take the challenges and get prepared also. Come join us!  We encourage you to keep a journal so you will be able to look back on your food and supply inventory.

We would like to say “Thank You” to the participants of past years. It is mind blowing to know that we have members from around the world taking these challenges. Although it is not perfect, we have put a lot of thought into creating these Challenges and appreciate your participation. We are confident this will provide you with a sense of security during your preparedness journey.

As creator of deCamp Outdoors, 52 Week Challenge, I hope you all will take the steps to be prepared for  future natural or man-made disasters.
